Understanding your
Medicare options

Choosing Medicare coverage can feel overwhelming. We explain your options clearly—like family—and help you compare costs, provider access, and prescriptions so you can enroll with confidence.

Parts A & B

Original Medicare

Covers hospital and medical services. You may still owe deductibles, copays, and coinsurance for hospital and outpatient care.

Medigap

Medicare Supplement

Helps pay out-of-pocket costs Original Medicare doesn't cover—copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles—through private insurers.

Part C

Medicare Advantage

Bundles Parts A & B through a private plan, often adding dental, vision, hearing, and prescription coverage in one package.

Part D

Prescription Drug

Covers medications through private plans following Medicare rules. Usually added separately when you have Original Medicare and Medigap.

Why personal guidance matters

No two situations are alike. We take time to match plans to your doctors, prescriptions, and budget—then walk you through enrollment and every next step so nothing falls through the cracks.

Common questions

Medigap vs. Medicare Advantage—what's the difference?

Medigap helps cover costs left over by Original Medicare. Medicare Advantage is an alternative way to receive Part A and Part B through a private plan, often with extra benefits bundled in.

Can I change Medicare plans during the year?

Most changes happen during Open Enrollment (October 15–December 7) or during a Special Enrollment Period if you qualify for one.

Do I need Part D if I have Medigap?

Usually, yes. Most Medigap policies don't include prescription coverage, so Part D is added separately to fill that gap.
